Description

A plugin for integrating Contact Form 7 with SendPulse. Allows you to automatically add contacts from Contact Form 7 forms to SendPulse address books.

Requirements

- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- PHP 7.2 or higher
- Contact Form 7 (required)
- SendPulse account with API access

Installation

1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
2. Activate the plugin via the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to the plugin settings (CF7 SendPulse) and enter your API credentials from SendPulse
4. Set up integration for each Contact Form 7 form in the form settings

Getting API credentials

1. Log in to your SendPulse account
2. Go to the "Integrations" → "API" section
3. Create a new application or use an existing one
4. Copy the API ID and API Secret
5. Insert them into the plugin settings

Customization

Global Settings

1. Go to CF7 SendPulse → Settings
2. Enter SendPulse's API ID and API Secret
3. Click Verify Connection to verify the connection
4. Click Save Settings

Setting up the form

1. Open the Contact Form 7 for editing
2. Scroll down to the SendPulse Integration section
3. Enable integration by checking the Enable SendPulse Integration box.
4. Select the primary address book
5. Select additional address books, if necessary
6. Configure the mapping of form fields to SendPulse variables
7. Enable additional options (UTM, GA, Roistat, Yandex Metrika)
8. Save the form

Matching fields

The plugin allows you to map Contact Form 7 fields to SendPulse variables.:

- Email (required) - the email address field
- Name - the contact's name
- Phone - phone number
- User variables - any other variables available in your address book

Additional information

The plugin can automatically send the following data:

- UTM parameters - utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content from the URL
- Google Analytics Client ID - from cookie _ga
- Roistat Visit - cookie value of roistat_visit
- Yandex Metrika UID - cookie value _ym_uid

Double Opt-In

When the Double Opt-In option is enabled, SendPulse will send a confirmation email to the contact's email address. The contact will be added to the address book only after confirmation.

Sending modes

- Immediately - data is sent immediately when the form is submitted
- Scheduled - data is sent with a slight delay via Action Scheduler (requires installing the Action Scheduler plugin or using the built-in WordPress cron)
